Bayern and Ludwigsburg started the German playoffs with convincing wins as Vladimir Lucic and Jaleen Smith shined for their respective teams

The German League quarterfinals have tipped off with two games as Bayern Munich and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg got convincing home wins over the opposing Brose Bamberg and Crailsheim Merlins.

Vladimir Lucic banked in 22 points for Bayern, pushing them to 86-66 on the scoreboard, while Zan Mark Sisko scored 16 and Paul Zipser 14 points.

For Crailsheim, Trae Bell-Haynes scored 23 and Elias Lasisi 14 points.

Jaleen Smith scored 21 in Ludwigsburg’s 83-69 win followed by Jamal McLean with 14 and Andrew Warren with 11 points. McLean grabbed 13 boards as well.

Kenneth Ogbe scored 14 on the opposing side with the help of Christian Sengfelder who added ten points.
