Maodo Lo led Alba to a convincing win as they tie the series against Ulm in the German semifinals

After letting Game 1 slip from their hands in the fourth quarter, Alba Berlin successfully recovered with a 92-78 win and tied the German League semifinal series against ratiopharm Ulm at 1-1.

Maodo Lo took over the responsibility and stepped up with 20 points on 3-5 from deep while also adding six assists and four steals. Simone Fontecchio followed with 17 and Marcus Eriksson with 14 points.

For Ulm, Demitirus Conger scored 19 in addition to Troy Caupain’s 15 and Andreas Obst’s 14 points.

Games 3 and 4 of the best-of-five series will be held on June 3 and 5 respectively with Ulm having the home-court advantage. The second semifinal is also currently tied at 1-1 with Bayern playing at home for the next couple of games against Ludwigsburg.
