Bayern bounced back against EWE Baskets and ALBA enjoyed a comfortable win against Syntainics MBC

Bayern bounced back from last week’s defeat in Germany to take down EWE Baskets 93-80 at home and move up to a 5-2 record in the standings, a tie with Hamburg Towers, Bonn and Bamberg.

DeShaun Thomas paced Andrea Trinchieri’s squad to win with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists, Vladimir Lucic had 14 points and Othello Hunter signed off with a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds for the hosts.

Cameron Clark had 15 points and 5 rebounds for Oldenburg, while Phil Pressey posted 14 points.

Luke Sikma and Marcus Eriksson picked up 19 points each to lift ALBA Berlin to a 92-72 win over Syntainics MBC, their second in a row in the German League (4-3).

Yovel Zoosman added up 15 points and 7 rebounds for ALBA, while on the other end of the court, Jakub Garbacz posted 16 points for Syntainics and Nikola Rebic added 15.
