Bayern Munich emerged with wins in back-to-back games.

One week before the German League derby between Bayern Munich and ALBA Berlin, both teams warmed up with a pair of victories for Rounds 12 and 9 respectively.

48 hours after beating Syntainics MBC, Bayern also defeated MLP Academics Heidelberg 77 – 71 and got up to an 8 – 2 record in a game for Round 12. Nihad Djedovic finished with 14 points plus five rebounds, Vladimir Lucic had 13 points and six boards while Adrien Obst scored 11 and DeShaun Thomas posted 10 points.

Jordan Geist had 15 points and Rob Lowery scored 12 for Heidelberg.

Following a big EuroLeague win over Olimpia Milano, ALBA carried that strength also vs. Nines Chemnitz for an 83 – 62 rout. The Albatrosses were emphatically superior despite the absences of Marcus Eriksson and Luke Sikma to move to 6-3.

Johannes Thiemann (14 points), Tim Schneider (13 points), Luis Olinde (12 points) and Yovel Zoosman (12 points) stood out from the winning side. Mindaugas Susinskas led Chemnitz with 18 points.
