After six straight wins, Bayern Munich was defeated on the road by Crailsheim Merlins. The final score was 77-68 with Bayern playing without Vladimir Lucic, Augustine Rubit, Nick Weiler-Babb and coach Andrea Trinchieri (photo), with Slaven Rimac coaching the team.

The return of injured center Leo Radosevic, who had an ankle surgery in the summer didn’t help much. Veterans K.C. Rivers (23 p., 7 r.) and Othello Hunter (11 p., 8 r.) tried their best but ended up being the only scorers in double digits for Bayern.

T.J. Shorts with 21 points was the top scorer of the winning side

After this result Bonn leads the German BBL standings with a 11-2 record, while Bayern dropped to 10-3.
