Bayern and Alba dominate on domestic front

Bayern and Alba faced no trouble in Germany as they log convincing wins on the domestic front

Bayern is awaiting the most important game of the season, and perhaps the club history, so far against Barcelona in Euroleague but that didn’t stop the squad from logging a 92-57 win versus s.Oliver Wurzburg in the German league.

Andreas Obst scored 18 points for Bayern while Jason George had 13 and Joshua Obiesie 12 points, as did Augustine Rubit. Coach Andrea Trinchieri mixed up the roster and balanced out the minutes to give his players much-needed rest.

Filip Stanic put up 18 points and ten rebounds for the losing team while Desi Rodriguez had 15 points.

Meanwhile, Alba got a 110-70 win over Heidelberg.  Louis Olinde and Yovel Zoosman had 17 points each for the victors while Tamir Blatt dished out ten assists and scored 12 points. Kyan Anderson dropped 18 points for the guests.

Alba (25-6) has kept the distance in front of Bayern (23-8) in the standings but both teams are on the chase for the top seed that currently belongs to Bonn (26-7) that played two games more.
