ALBA Berlin defeated Tigers Tubingen 97 – 81 on the road thanks to a powerful second-half performance to improve to 6-1 in the German BBL League.
Five players scored in double figures for ALBA. Justin Bean had 15 points plus six rebounds, Christ Koumadje posted 14 points plus 10 boards while Yann Wetzell and Gabriele Procida dropped 14 points apiece as well. Sterlin Brown contributed 13 points to the Berlin side that overpowered Tubingen 48 – 32 after a balanced first half to get the win.
Mateo Seric led Tubingen with 21 points.
ALBA is hosting Panathinaikos Athens this Friday (10/11) and will look to get a much needed EuroLeague victory at home after a rough 1-5 start.
