Bayern Munich extends impressive domestic winning streak

Since their loss to Telekom Baskets Bonn on November 12th, Bayern Munich has completely forgotten the bitter taste of defeat in the Bundesliga.

Pablo Laso’s side secured their 11th straight BBL win, defeating Syntainics MBC on the road 86-116, with Andreas Obst leading the way.

The German national team player and 2023 World Cup winner finished the game with 24 points and an impressive 8-12 from beyond the arc.

Carsen Edwards added 20 points, Isaac Bonga 16, while Niels Giffay and Danko Brankovic scored 13 each, and Sylvain Francisco contributed 12 points.

Charles Callison led the hosts with 21 points, Johnathan Stove had 20, while Vincent Edwards and John Bryant added 12 points apiece.

ALBA Berlin triumphs on the road against Vechta

Following Bayern Munich’s success, the other German representative in the EuroLeague, ALBA Berlin, also secured victory in Round 20 of the BBL. Israel Gonzalez’s team defeated Vechta on the road with a final score of 89-98.

Matteo Spagonolo led the winning side with 16 points, Johannes Thiemann added 15, and Jonas Mattisseck contributed 13 points in just 13 minutes. Sterling Brown had 11 points, and Martin Hermannsson added 10.

Ryan Schweiger led the hosts with 24 points, followed by Tommy Kuhse with 22, and Spencer Reaves with 11 points.
