German EuroLeague sides Bayern Munich and ALBA Berlin record home-court victories in the BBL

After losing the chance to continue competing in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague past the regular season, Bayern Munich continues to fight in the German BBL with a dominant victory.

Pablo Laso’s side made a statement with a 91-61 win over Braunschweig, solidifying its position at the top of the standings with a 22-4 record.

Sylvain Francisco led the way for the winning side with 19 points and seven assists, followed by Leandro Bolmaro’s 11 and Isaac Bonga’s 10-point efforts.

Barra Njie and Brandon Tischler scored 11 points for the defeated team.

While Bayern Munich had a strong display on both sides of the court, ALBA Berlin dominated on the offensive end in Round 27, taking down the Basketball Champions League Quarterfinalists MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg 100-91.

Sterling Brown stood out on Israel Gonzalez’s team with 21 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Yanni Wetzell followed with 18 points and five rebounds, while Christ Koumadje was on the verge of a double-double with 13 points and nine boards. Malte Delow also scored 13 points, while Matt Thomas added 12, and Tim Schneider eight, along with 13 rebounds.

As usual, one of the top BCL scorers, Jayvon Graves, led Ludwigsburg with 24 points, while Silas Melson followed him with 23. Jacob Patrick added 11 and Yorman Bartolo 10 points.
