The second night of the German BBL playoffs delivered two emphatic statements from title hopefuls, with Bayern Munich and RASTA Vechta both starting their postseason campaigns in dominant fashion.

At the BMW Park, FC Bayern Munich overwhelmed Gladiators Trier 101-80 in a high-tempo performance that underlined the Bavarians’ offensive depth and championship ambitions.

The standout performer of the night was Andreas Obst, who erupted for 24 points and repeatedly stretched Trier’s defense with his trademark perimeter shooting. His scoring bursts helped Bayern create separation before halftime, and the hosts never looked back.

In the other playoff clash of the day, RASTA Vechta produced the surprise result by storming into the German capital and defeating ALBA Berlin 103-89 on the road. Vechta delivered an outstanding offensive display, silencing the home crowd with fearless shooting and relentless pace.

The visitors were inspired by a sensational performance from Tevin Brown, who lit up the game with 30 points. Brown was virtually unstoppable throughout the evening, combining deep shooting with aggressive drives to the basket and consistently punishing ALBA’s defensive rotations.
