The backcourt duo of Fabien Causeur and Maodo Lo run the show well enough for Brose Bamberg (23-1) to cruise 83 – 62 past EWE Oldenburg on the road and remain in pursuit of still undefeated Ratiopharm Ulm (24 – 0) in the German League standings.

Causeur dropped a team-high 18 points and 5 assists, as many dimes as Lo who also pinched in 16 points. Daniel Theis added 13 points plus 5 rebouns and Jerel McNeal scored 11.

The 22 points by Ricky Paulding or the 16 points and 8 rebounds courtesy of Brian Qvale didn’t cut it for Oldenburg that fell seventh with a 13 – 11 record.
