Bayern got the win against Bremerhaven on the road (85 – 83) earlier today and jumped to a 5-1 record in the German BBL League.
Guests had early leads (19 – 13 at the end of the first quarter) but the home team responded from three-point territory (13/29 from beyond the arc). Bremerhaven was able to lead the game even in the last quarter (60 – 59, 33′) but Aleksandar Djordjevic’s players were focused in the last minutes. In the end, it was decided on details.
Reggie Redding paced the winners with 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists while Jordan Hulls led the game in scoring with 17.
While Bayern enjoyed a great win on the road, Frankfurt got an important victory at home against Medi Bayreuth in a close game. Yesterday, Alba improved to a 6-1 record after defeating Oettinger while Ludwigsburg cruised Bamberg. Finally, Oliver Wüzburg suffered their first defeat of the season.
