Despite starting the game off well, Braunschweig could not compete with Brose Bamberg in the second half. With an incredible 34-10 third period, Bamberg finished off the deal at home. The final score says it all (82-55). Louis Olinde led the way for the hosts with 19 points, while Daniel Hackett flirted with a double-double (9p./10a.).
Earlier on Sunday, Giessen defeated Alba Berlin 102-87 and improved its record to 16-17. This was the first loss in six games for Berlin’s team. John Bryant finished with a double-double for the hosts as he put up 20 points and 12 rebounds.
On the other hand, Bayern Munich got its seventh straight win, after winning a close game against Bremerhaven (98-95). Dejan Randonjic’s squad shot 52.8% from the field and had five players in double-figures. Stefan Jovic finished with 17.
Finally, Ludwigsburg got a tough 70-73 win away from home against Bayreuth.
