The first final of the German league turned out to be a big derby, with Alba taking the first step forward.

Alba Berlin prevailed over Bayern in the first final of the German League with 106-95 in overtime.

The Berlin side completely dominated the extra five-minute period, with Marius Grigonis paving the way. The Lithuanian forward finished with a game-high performance of 30 points, with 5 out of 7 from the three-point line.

Nihad Djedovic scored 18 points for the hosts that will now face Alba on the road this upcoming Thursday for Game 2.
