Brose Bamberg completed the third day of action in the German league by getting a close win.

Patrick Heckmann made a big three and a block at crunch time, leading Brose Bamberg to the 93-91 overtime win over MHP Risen. With three seconds left, Jordon Crawford got the rebound and tried to make a miracle shot for the win, but Heckmann blocked him in the last game of Day 3 in the German Easy Credit BBL

Having said that, half of the games of Day 2 have not been played yet, due to the traditionally peculiar schedule of the German league. Bayern and Bonn are the only teams with a 3-0 record, followed by Alba Berlin, Oldenburg and Bamberg at 2-0.
