Derrick Williams helped Bayern Munich beat Mitteldeutscher and remain undefeated in German League.

Bayern Munich managed to break Mitteldeutscher’s resistance in the second half and record an 81-66 road win on Day 8 of German League.

Derrick Williams led the winning side with 19 points and five rebounds while Danilo Barthel added 13 points. For Mitteldeutscher, Trevor Releford scored game-high 23 in addition to James Farr’s 17 points.

The first half was fairly balanced as neither team could gain a significant advantage but Bayern had the minimal 36-35 lead. The guests started to make some distance in the third quarter (61-52) and continued to do so in the last period leading by as much as 17 points (74-57) leaving no doubt about the outcome.

Bayern remained the only undefeated team with an 8-0 record while Mitteldeutscher stayed at the bottom and holds a 1-7 record together with Crailsheim.
