The German Cup went down to the wire as Brose Bamberg grabbed the narrow 83-82 win over Alba Berlin and got to lift the trophy for the fifth time.
Rokas Giedraitis put Alba ahead 82-80 with 28 seconds left but Bamberg had the last say and although Tyrese Rice missed a triple, Augustine Rubit grabbed a rebound and the ball eventually got to Nikos Zisis who nailed the game-winner from deep.

Zisis finished the game with 19 points (5-8 triples) in addition to Ryce’s 20 while Elias Harris added 15 points. For Alba, Giedraitis nailed game-high 23 points and Johannes Thiemann 17 points.
