Hollis Thompson will play the remainder of the season in Germany as he signed a deal with Hakro Merlins Crailsheim, the club announced.
Despite being targeted by various European clubs last summer, the 27-year-old forward played the first part of the season in the NBA G League with Northern Arizona Suns averaging 16.6 points and 6.3 rebounds.
Thompson played with the Philadelphia 76ers and the New Orleans Pelicans in the NBA for a total of 265 games over four seasons (2013-17) before joining Olympiacos with which he played in both EuroLeague and the Greek League in the 2017-18 season.
