Rasid Mahalbasic registered his fourth triple-double this season to lead EWE Oldenburg to a 97 – 87 win over Telekom Baskets Bonn for the 2-0 in the German League best-of-five quarterfinal series.

In 34:09, Mahalbasic scored 21 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and 10 assists for 41 in Efficiency. It’s quite phenomenal that the 28-year-old big guy has four triple-doubles and the season isn’t over yet, considering the extreme rarity of triple-doubles in Europe.

Apart from Mahalbasic, Will Cummings also dropped 21 points. For Ulm, Anthony Dileo scored 17 and Oliver Hanlan 16.

In the other German League playoffs game held Tuesday (21/5), Martin Hermannsson scored 23 points and seven assists as Alba Berlin beat Ratiopharm Ulm 98 – 83 to take a 2-0 lead in the German League best-of-five quarterfinal series.

Rokas Giedraitis added 17 points for an Alba squad that controlled most aspects of the game in the last 15 minutes to prevail easily down the stretch.

Javonte Green had 18 points and Dwayne Evans for Ulm.
