Greg Monroe put on an all-around performance in Bayern Munich’s convincing 111-55 win against Hamburg Towers in their first 2019-20 German League game.
Monroe logged 18 points, ten rebounds, five assists and one block while also drawing six fouls for a total of 27 PIR. Nihad Djedovic also had a great game with 20 points on 8-9 shooting (3-3 triples) while Paul Zipser scored 17 points.
For Hamburg, Heiko Schaffartzik and Marshawn Powell scored ten points each.
Bayern kicked off strong from the very start and was ahead 23-7 after ten minutes and increased the gap to a huge 58-17 lead at halftime. And they kept going after the break, leading by as much as 64 points (100-36) as they showed no mercy to their opponent until the end.
