Martin Hermannsson had everything under control as he led ALBA to a home win over Oldenburg in the German League

ALBA Berlin took over in the fourth quarter and grabbed a 90-77 home win over EWE Baskets Oldenburg in the German League. They improved to 6-2 compared to Oldenburg’s 5-4 record.

Martin Hermannsson logged 18 points and seven assists for the winning side while Niels Giffey and Landry Nnoko added 12 points each.

For Oldenburg, Gerry Blakes and Rasid Mahalbasic scored 14 points each followed by Nathan Boothe’s 12. Mahalbasic also dished seven assists and grabbed six boards.

ALBA was ahead 29-20 in the first quarter but Oldenburg was the one going to the halftime rest with a 44-42 lead. The sides stayed tied at the end of the third quarter but ALBA took over in the fourth opening it with seven straight points and riding the momentum until the end for the win.
