FC Bayern Munich reached its 14th straight victory in the German easycredit BBL with a 76-68 victory against RASTA Vechta on the road.
Petteri Koponen led the way for the Munich side with 19 points, while Vladimir Lucic followed with a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Gottingen stunned ALBA Berlin with a 72-71 victory at home. Martin Hermanson missed the chance to even the score with one of his two awarded free throws missed, with a minute to go in the game. ALBA strived to take advantage in the remaining seconds but ceased to score, and suffered its third defeat of the season in Germany.
As of Round 15, Bayern remains on top of the standings with a perfect 14-0 record, MHP Riesen follows with an 11-3 record, ALBA Berlin with 10-3 and EWE Baskets is at a tie with
Crailsheim Merlins at 9-5.
