Baskonia definitely wants to defend its homecourt against Khimki to live another day in the competition. Although the season is not over, it is a crucial point and several teams have their eyes on the playoffs already.
Baskonia – Khimki 1 / 1.76
This is a do-or-die game for Baskonia. If Khimki prevails over in Vitoria, then Baskonia will lose the tiebreaker. This means that, even with the entire second round ahead, they cannot cover up the four-win deficit. In addition, Baskonia is still a better team than Khimki and while Khimki’s rotation might be better at parts, in order to win, they will have to shoot at 50% or more from the three-point line which is tough in a road game. Last but not least, the hosts seem to have the momentum, coming from a victory against Real Madrid.
Bayern – Maccabi 2 (-4.5) / 1.71
Two more choices for this week are the homecourt victories of Fenerbahce and Zalgiris. Both are looking for a win this week to remain on the course of the playoffs and both are just heating up. Both Olimpia Milano and ALBA Berlin are not that big of a threat away from home.
Game of the week
Real Madrid hosts Anadolu Efes in, undoubtedly, the game of the week. The visitors are in a much better form, but Real’s consecutive losses might result in a great outburst this week at home. They are likely the favorites for this win, but our suggestion would be to wait for live betting for this game.
