Khimki – Unicaja Malaga

Nedovic’s absence is important for Malaga, who will find it difficult to survive in Moscow against Georgios Bartzokas’s team. In three games so far without the Serbian guard, the Spanish team counts as many defeats and was, in fact, crushed in the two away games against Valencia and Real Madrid. Khimki have the upper hand in this game and we expect that the easy way or the hard way, they will cover the -6,5 handicap (1,75).

The two teams are on opposite paths, with Fenerbahce counting consecutive wins and Olympiacos looking rather troubling lately. However, despite the fact that they’re winning, the Turkish team is not playing well and they’re coming off an away loss to Banvit in the domestic league. Olympiacos can return to winning ways in the Peace and Friendship Stadium, where they have the upper hand against any opponent. The home win (1,52) can be included in one of our bets.

From the player bets, Guduric’s Under 8,5 (1,70) is the best one. Kalinic’s return might take some playing time away from Crvena Zvezda’s former player, and we’re also expecting a tough game in the Peace and Friendship Stadium that will probably move towards the Under and this affects the players’ lines as well.

CSKA have the upper hand in Moscow both with regards to the win (1,45) as well as the -3,5 handicap (1,75). Dimitris Itoudis’s team is in good shape, plays beautiful basketball and if they beat Real Madrid in this round they will be the ultimate favorites for the top spot in the EuroLeague’s standings. The easy way or the hard way, the Russians will figure out how to win the game. So, we’re holding on to the home win as well as the handicap.

Panathinaikos’s improvement in the defensive part away from home has been noticeable in recent games, regardless of whether they win or not. Bamberg is a team with several dead intervals in their game and this, combined with the defense of Xavi Pascual’s team, leads us towards the home team’s Under 75,5 (1,75).
