The first Greek derby of the season in EuroLeague on Eurohoops’ betting spotlight

By Stathis Trapezanlidis / info@eurohoops.net

Panathinaikos faces Olympiacos at OAKA for Round 12 of EuroLeague and the Greens seem to be the favorites in this duel since they seem to be in better shape at this point of the season. The two teams don’t have many differences, though the homecourt advantage is a strong factor in this game. Both have new coaches on board and the results of these changes are visible in their latest games.

Despite Panathinaikos being a strong favorite, we cannot say that either team has total control of its momentum at the time being. With all that being said, betting for 1 is really not much of a worthy choice, thus we choose the double handicap (+8.5). For the patient betters out there, live betting could be of even greater value.

Khimki – Barcelona  2 / 1.83
Barcelona is undeniably a superior team when opposed to Khimki, but once again the homecourt advantage is on the Russian team’s side. The Blaugranas come off from a tough 30-point defeat by CSKA Moscow and will look to bounce back this week. The game might turn out to be more difficult than expected, though it’s wise to bet on a road victory for Barcelona.

Maccabi Tel Aviv – Bayern 1/1 / 1.52

Bayern will visit Tel Aviv with hopes to grab a victory, though Maccabi is much stronger at this point. The Israeli team could use the next few games to rise above the pack and climb up the standings and will look to take advantage of their momentum. We choose the 1/1 option for this game since Bayern doesn’t seem to be as productive in its road games, while Maccabi makes full use of its homecourt.

BaskoniaAnadolu Efes 2 (+2) / 1.71
