Israeli center Jake Cohen after graduating from Davidson College signed a four year contract with Euroleague powerhouse Maccabi Tel Aviv and will make his pro debut in the old continent. In Eurocup, Cantu announced the signing of Stefano Gentile

Jake Cohen will make his professional debut in his father land. The 22 years old center who has an Israeli passport signed a contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv for the next for years and will compete in next season’s Euroleague. Cohen has already played for the U20 Israeli national team in the 2010 European championship, being the top scorer of the tournament with 20 ppg.

In Eurocup, Cantu of Italy announced the signing of 23 years old Stefano Gentile, son of former player Nando Gentile and older brother of EA7 Milano‘s Alessandro Gentile. Stefano Gentile was a former player of Milano five years ago.

The rumor of the imminent deal between the player and Olympiacos was first reported by the italian website Worldbasket.com.
