CSKA was seeking redemption after the loss against Olympiacos in the Euroleague final and at least the Moscow team can have solace after winning its 10th straight Russian championship. In the home court of Khimki, CSKA finished the 3-0 sweep by a 90-75 win.

Alexey Shved with 18 points and Nenad Krstic with 17 were the top scorers for the winners. On the other side Khimki captain Vitaly Fridzon did his best with 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. CSKA’s biggest star Andrei Kirilenko wasn’t playing due to his ankle injury and now everybody wants to know if he will return to the NBA next season. Khimki could not compete with CSKA, but the team is satisfied after conquering the Eurocup, which also means a place in next season’s Euroleague. So the season is considered successful for them.
