Anadolu Efes lost again in its second game for the Gloria Cup (76-67 by Unicaja) and the Turkish club will play on Friday for the 5th place of the tournament. Efes was close in the score during the first half but Zoran Dragic and Jayson Granger led Unicaja to the win. A lot of NBA team are interested for the Slovenian guard but for the moment he was the best among Joan Plaza’s players.
Dusan Ivkovic was not satisfied with the defense and the three-point percentages of his players. Matt Janning scored 12 points, Stephane Lasme scored 11 points and grabbed 6 rebounds, whule Stratos Perperoglou added 11 points and 5 rebounds.
In the second game of Gloria Cup’s tonight, Fenerbahce beat 75-66 Red Star. The Turks controlled the game since the start and Zoric (14p.), Vesely (13p.), Erden (10p.), Bjelica (10p.) were the best among equals in a relatively easy win.
