Despite being cut by Panathinaikos two weeks ago for medical reasons, Julian Wright stayed in Greece, had his rehab and now he is the new member of the Greens. The American forward signed a contract with the team, which needed a boost in the front line and specially in the center position.

It remains to be seen if Wright is the man for the job and how he will be used in  the first game of the team for Euroleague against Turow. After signing his contract, however, he is available to coach Ivanovic. To be exact, Ivanovic himself announced to the Greek media that the player will be among the 12 eligible athletes for the game.

Wright himself added: “I am very happy because I am with a team which works hard and trying to get better, like I had the chance to see during my days with them. That’s what I also do as a player. I try hard in defense and do what my coach asks. I had the delight to see the atmosphere of our fans in the Greek league game against Kifisia. I can’t wait to start”.
