Just after signing with Manresa of Liga Endesa, Donnie McGrath is leaving Spain and in a few hours he will land in Istanbul. The experienced guard signed with Anadolu Efes a contract for the next month which can be extended until the end of the season.
The deal of McGrath with Manresa had an opt-out clause in case of a better offer and just one day after signing with the Spanish team, he received the offer from Efes. So he will have the chance to prove himself under coach Dusan Ivkovic and return to the highest European stage.
Spanish reported Chema De Lucas was the first to report that the deal of the player with Manresa was terminated, due to Anadolu Efes‘ interest and the deal was announced on Monday morning (20/10) by the club.
