After an excellent weekend with 4/5 tips and only 0,5 point away from the perfect 5/5, Eurohoops is ready for the Euroleague games. We give you our predictions for the games Unics Kazan-Efes, Milan-Fenerbahce, Zalgiris–Real Madrid, Galatasaray–Red Star and Unicaja-Cedevita.
Unics Kazan celebrated only one win in the first round and Argiris Pedoulakis left the team. The players didn’t seem to be happy and the American superstars in almost every game didn’t show their talent. Usually any change in the coaching stuff helps any team to play better at least for a short period immediately after the arrival of the new coach. Pashutin can’t do many things in two days, but his players can beat Efes that comes from the big success against Real but isn’t steady yet.
On the road Real lost to Efes and won by one point vs Unics. Still the game against Zalgiris will be much easier for Madridistas. The hosts have limited options, lost some momentum and the players of Laso can win by more than 6,5 points.
Unicaja comes from three consecutive losses and one win against Tenerife. The team doesn’t seem to be in such great shape as last month. Cedevita is much better as time goes by and the handicap (11,5 points) is too high. The only win of Unicaja by more than 6 points was in the Euroleague opener against Cedevita, but it happened one month ago. And everything changed since then.
Galatasaray faces a lot of problems and in addition Ataman has to overcome the injury problems of Pocius and Micov. Red Star is competitive and can get advantage of these absences. The game is expected to be tight and we bet on the visitors because they have on their side the handicap (4,5 points).
The main problem of Milan and Fenerbahce so far is their defense. They allow too many points to their opponents and the same time they have talented players who score a lot. If they shoot a little better than in the opening game of the season, they will score in total easily more than 156,5 points.
