Friday 22th June is the most crucial day in the modern history of Efes Anadolu. The winnest coach in Europe, Zeljko Obradovic, is still free agent, but he has in his hands a luxurious offer from the Turkish team and has given notice that he will answer no later than Friday, as Engin Ozerhun revealed to eurohoops.net.

“We expect his answer even on Thursday night, but I think the decisive day is Friday” said the general manager of Efes Anadolu for the Serbian coach who left a few days ago from Panathinaikos. According to reports from Turkey, he has been offered a contract of 10.5 million euros for three years.

Furthermore, Milangaz’s decision to withdraw from sponsoring Besiktas hasn’t made the board of Efes Anadolu to… think twice their future. The rumours about the possible merge that have been published no so long ago were dashed by Ozerhun, who said “nothing has changed in comparison with what we announced a few days before. There is no connection with Besiktas. The two teams will not merge”.
