Galatasaray‘s coach Ergin Ataman attacked the referees of the game against Maccabi in the press conferense for their non-call in the block (?) of Alex Tyus over Ender Arslan who would have given a two points advantage to Galatasaray with 14 seconds left in overtime.

As Ataman said about the trio of Lamonica, Jovcic and Piloidis:: “Our victory was stolen. Referees should use the instant replay in the final seconds according the rules. Nobody can play with the right of Galatasaray. We will appeal to Euroleague. This league is just devouring the money of Turkey. I protested several times. You can not interfere with the ball on the descent. The basket should have counted. In this league, which has as a sponsor Turkish Airlines, Turkish teams are somehow always the victim. This should end. We fought like lions, but the referee stole the victory from us. We will protest for the result and the referee who ruled it certainly should be expelled from Euroleague”
