Sergio Scariolo was presented today by the Spanish federation as the new national team coach, however the Italian can end up also in the NBA. As Eurohoops can confirm there’s interest for the experienced coach also from an NBA franchise in order to be an assistant.
The contract of coach Scariolo with the Spanish federation allows him to work with any European or American team during the season and it remains to be seen if he will be the next European coach who lands a job in the NBA, after a long career in the old continent.
