The lawyer of Panathinaikos BC Michalis Dimitrakopoulos issued the following statement-answer towards Jordi Bertomeu’s quotes regarding the club.
“For many years the Giannakopoulos family is the blood donors of Greek and indirectly European basketball! The statements of Bertomeu against Dimitrios Giannakopoulos are insulting and we expect the legal actions of his lawyers in Greece in order to answer him via the proper authorities. There are no slaves in Greece for centuries, however we will always have traitors like Ephialtes”.
