Dionte Christmas left Moscow, but that doesn’t mean that he will also leave Europe. According to Eurohoops sources, Valencia, which has an open spot in its roster after Mickael Gelabale signed with Minnesota for the season, is interested in the American guard.
Christmas is a shooting guard, but Valencia‘s brass think that he can help them by playing also as a small forward for some minutes. The initial target of the team was Joe Ingles of Barcelona, who is not registered in the team’s roster for Liga Endesa, but the Catalans will not let him go.
Christmas will certainly have more playing time in Valencia than he had in CSKA Moscow and if he signs, he will have the opportunity to showcase his skills in the best domestic league in Europe.
