One day before the anniversary of Olympiacos miracle win in the Euroleague final of 2012, Dusan Ivkovic travelled back in Istanbul, but this time his sight is focused on the future of Anadolu Efes. There’s no official announcement yet, but Duda is already planning the next roster of Anadolu Efes and that’s why he had a meeting with Efes‘ president Tuncay Ozilhan along with coach Vaggelis Aggelou.

The goal of the new version of Efes will be to have a good core of local players. This core according to Eurohoops sources includes Dogus Balbay, Birkan Batuk and youngsters Okben Ulubay and Emircan Kosut. It’s a given that Semih Erden, as we reported before, is out of the team, while Kerem Gonlum has some chances to be re-signed, since he is considered a real professional.

Coach Ivkovic wants to create a fresh, young team, that why Alexander Vezenkov of Greek club Aris and Vasilje Micic are among Efes’ main targets. Ιn both cases there are contacts between the team and the players, but no deals yet.
