NCAA champion of 2013, captain of the Louisville Cardinals and MOP of the tournament, Luke Hancock may start his professional career in Europe by signing with Panionios. According to Eurohoops sources the hero of the 2013 NCAA Final Four is in advanced talks with the Greek club.

Hancock had received many offers during the summer in order to play in Europe, he was invited in the training camp of Memphis Grizzlies but he was recently cut. So he seems decided to make the jump to the other side of the Atlantic, where a player with his shooting ability can excel. Αfter all, despite his college career, he went undrafted in 2013 and this is his second cut from the NBA.

UPDATE: The deal is done, officially announced and on Thursday (6/11) the player is expected to arrive in Greece.
