After the resignation of Hakan Demir, Trabzonspor is losing no time and has advanced talks with Greek coach Ilias Zouros. The former coach of Anadolu Efes, Zalgiris Kaunas and the Greek National Team and the Turkish club are near an agreement, according to sources from Turkey close to the situation.
After a 1-5 start in the league, the team needs a reboot and Zouros seems to be the man of the job. The final decision of both sides is expected soon and the deal seems to be imminent.
UPDATE: Despite an almost done deal Trabzonspor decided to go an other way. First the team contacted Russian Evgeny Pashutin and on Saturday the 22nd of November the club hired Nenad Markovic.
