The main thing Olympiacos’ new coach, George Bartzokas wanted for this summer, was for his roster to be completed till 18/8. so he will be able to have all his players from the beginning of the training camp. And it seems he will have this opportunity!

On Saturday the Reds announced the extension of Joey Dorsey’s contract and with the American center they reached 12 players in their roster, who are going to be 14 very soon.

After Vassilis Spanoulis and his… move from Panathinaikos to Olympiacos, during the summer of 2010, Stratos Perperoglou is ready to… cover the same distance. For the past month he was in negotiations with Panathinaikos, but things don’t end up well, after he denied the original offer and the Greens didn’t come up with a new one. Unics Kazan and Armani offered him contracts, together with the European Champions, who seem to conveice him to sign for two years (as always they are going to keep their right to sign him for one more year, next summer).

The 14th player will be Vassilis Kavvadas, who this summer played for the first time with the Greek national team and he has a contract with Panionios, till 2014. Eurocup’s team was negotiating his rights with Panathinaikos and Olympiacos, with the Reds getting the advantage this week and if there is no extreme development, Kavvadas will be Olympiacos‘ player, next week.
