Domantas Sabonis and Jonas Valanciunas headline the preliminary roster of Lithuania for the upcoming 2022 EuroBasket Qualifiers on November. The two NBAers want to play with their national team and all that remains is for their clubs to greenlight their participation.

“I’m excited that both Domantas Sabonis, both Jonas Valanciunas have expressed their interest in joining the national team,” Lithuania coach Darius Maskoliunas said, per FIBA. “Everything is now in the hands of Federation officials, who are formalizing things with the Indiana Pacers and the Memphis Grizzlies, respectively. I’m hopeful they will be able to help our team again.”

The list of players also includes veterans Jonas Maciulis,  Mindaugas Kuzminskas and Mantas Kalnietis plus ACB September MVP Laurynas Birutis. Lithuania will be hosting Denmark (26/11) and Belgium (29/11) in Vilnius.
