The Spanish national team hasn’t included any NBA players in the list of 40 players that may be on the roster for the upcoming EuroBasket Qualifiers that the Federation sent to FIBA, according to a report by AS.

So far there have been some national teams that have named NBAers in their preliminary squads for November’s Window. Lithuania expects Domantas Sabonis and Jonas Valanciunas, Bosnia has called Jusuf Nurkic and Dzanan Musa while Finland is counting on Lauri Markkanen. What’s left is for their teams to give permission so that the players will be able to join their national teams.

Spain, on the other hand, has ruled out featuring such players as Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka or Juancho and Willy Hernangomez who are all free agents. Serbia, France Italy have also compiled the rosters without their NBA players. French national team coach Vincent Collet has actually said that the NBA isn’t allowing players to be with their national teams in the Window.

On November 27 and 30, Spain will be facing Israel and Romania respectively in Group A’s “bubble” in Valencia. The Spanish side is 1-1 while Israel is leading the Group at 2-0.
