In a direct clash for the EuroBasket 2022 ticket, North Macedonia made a comeback from being down in double-digits and logged an 86-84 win over Estonia, however, the latter qualified for the EuroBasket 2022.

Both teams finished the qualifiers with a 2-4 record in Group B but Estonia had a nine-point (81-72) tiebreaker advantage coming from the first duel.

Nenad Dimitrijevikj banked in 23 and Bojan Trajkovski 21 points for North Macedonia. Jacob Wiley put up an 18-point, 14-rebounds double-double.

On the other side, Maik-Kalev Kotsar scored 15 points for the winning side in addition to Kristian Kullamae and Kaspar Treier’s 14 points each. Treier also grabbed 12 rebounds.

The last EuroBasket ticket belonged to Lithuania which survived Denmark’s comeback effort and a potential game-winning layup. Mantas Kalnietis came up big to block it and make his squad the one to complete the 24-team field.
