Goran Dragic joined forces with the Slovenian national team for the qualifiers game against Croatia and the burning question is his availability for the 2022 EuroBasket.

Dragic, who is headed to the Chicago Bulls next season, explained that he’s “not close to making a decision” about whether on not he will be joining the national team in September, and elaborated on the reasons behind his uncertainty.

“To be honest, I’m not close to making a decision yet, because I have some personal things to sort out first, so I have to go to Miami and sort these things out,” Dragic said in an interview with siol.net. Once this is behind me, I will be able to decide whether I will play in the EuroBasket But the whole thing is somewhat shrouded in black due to the timeline of events”

“My wish is that if I were to play in the championship, I want to be with the team from the first day so that we can then develop this chemistry both on and off the court. However, if all this drags on and I can only join the team a few days before the championship, I don’t see the point in that, because without training it simply doesn’t work”.
