The extent of Tomas Satoransky’s injury is still in question and further tests will be done after the Czech Republic national team returns to its base

Tomas Satoransky injured his right ankle in yesterday’s game against Germany and it remains unclear when he will be able to return to action. There’s no official statement about his condition, however, according to Czech reporter Jakub Kanta, there’s no prediction yet about his return.

As he tweeted: “The X-ray has already ruled out a fracture, but the extent of the injury will only be determined by an MRI in the Czech Republic after the swelling subsides”.

With the Czech Republic hosting one of the four Eurobasket groups, the presence of Satoransky is more than crucial for the team, and with 12 days left until the start of the tournament, there might be time for his return.

On the other hand, Satoransky will probably miss the upcoming FIBA World Cup qualifiers games on the 24th of August against France and on the 27th against Hungary.
