The calf injury suffered mid-August by Nemanja Bjelica ultimately pushed him out of Serbia’s Eurobasket roster. The official announcement came and while Nemanja Nedovic is included in the final selection of coach Pesic, Bjelica is out.
The roster of Serbia that has emerged as one of the top Eurobasket contenders is the following: Vasilje Micic, Ognjen Jaramaz, Nemanja Nedovic, Vanja Marinkovic, Marko Guduric, Nikola Kalinic, Dejan Davidovac, Marko Jagodic-Kuriza, Vladimir Lucic, Nikola Jokic, Nikola Milutinov, Dusan Ristic.
Nedovic has already commented on his condition, saying that he is ready to go.
On the other hand, Nemanja Bjelica will join the training camp of his new team, Fenerbahce and more details about his condition are expected to be known soon.
