The Georgian national team and its former coach, Ilias Zouros, are officially part of the country’s “Order of Honor” for their achievements over the past few years, as they gear up for the upcoming EuroBasket 2025.
Under Zouros, Georgia competed in the 2017 and 2022 EuroBasket and also reached the Round of 16 in the 2023 FIBA World Cup, the team’s biggest achievement on the world stage.
National team stars Toko Shengelia and Giorgi Shermandini were also present for the occasion.
Eurobasket is starting on the 27th of August, and the national team is about to start its training camp, this time under coach Aleksandar Dzikic.
