Slovenia won its first-ever FIBA U18 EuroBasket title by defeating host Italy 88-71 in the Final in Trentino.
Stefan Joksimovic led the historic triumph with 24 points, while Lukas Bojovic added 21.
The 17-year-old guard was named tournament MVP after averaging 23.1 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
Joksimovic was also selected to the All-Star Five alongside Italy’s Papa Cheickh Niang, France’s Hugo Yimga, Spain’s Diego Niebla, and Germany’s Leonard Kroger.
France completed the podium by beating Spain 74-69 in the Third Place Game. The top five teams, including Germany, secured qualification for the 2027 FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup.
