One more player may miss the upcoming Eurobasket and his absence will be important for his team. Italian guard Daniel Hackett didn’t appear on Thursday in the training camp of the Italian national team despite the fact that he was expected to be present. Hackett is injured in his Achilles tendon and that’s why he left the practices on the first day of the camp.
He was examined by a doctor in Rome and now he informed the Italian federation that he will travel to Finland in order to be examined by a specialist. Probably on Tuesday we will know if he will be able to play in the upcoming Eurobasket.
