As many players passing the upcoming Eurobasket, there is one who is taking a different route. The new member of Olympiacos Matt Lojeski will be a member of the Belgian NT and he is expected in the training camp of the team on the 12th of August. FIBA Europe accepted forward Wen Mubuku as a Belgian player, the spot of the naturalized player in the roster opened up and Lojeski will be taking it.

On the contrary, according to Italian journalist Andrea Barocci of “Corriere Dello Sport” daily newspaper, Italian star Andrea Bargnani (photo) may miss the upcoming tournament “due to a respiratory infection”. Already Daniel Hackett left the team, because of pains in his Achilles tendon.

Without Lojeski, Belgium lost one more game to Lithuania (66-53) on Tuesday night, France without Tony Parker – who is in a sort break in order to rest – beat on the road Germany (89-84), while FYROM without Pero Antic prevailed over Croatia (78-75) which will miss Dario Saric for the next five days due to an ankle injury.
